Girls on the Run is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. We teach life skills through dynamic interactive lessons and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness.
Fall 2014 Coaches NEEDED!!
We need you! Girls on the Run is a chance to get outside, laugh, jump and cheer. Mostly importantly, it’s a chance for you to help girls realize their full potential.
You do NOT need to be a runner to coach– just have a passion for promoting healthy lifestyle and self-esteem for young girls!
Practices are 2 days a week for little over one hour, and we can use you even if you can only commit to 1 day. Training, curriculum and materials provided and coaches daughters’ are guaranteed a spot.
