Unleashing Confidence and Fun at Camp GOTR! | Summer Camp in Union County NC

Every summer, Girls on the Run of Union County hosts a magical experience known as Camp GOTR! For one exciting week, girls come together for a camp filled with fun, friendship, and confidence-building activities designed just for them. It’s not your average summer camp—it’s an empowering blend of creativity, teamwork, and learning that leaves a lasting impact on each girl who attends.

What Makes Camp GOTR So Special?

At Camp GOTR, we’re on a mission to nurture not only physical health but emotional and social growth. The camp is designed for girls to explore their unique personalities, uncover hidden strengths, and learn to be more confident in themselves. The supportive environment gives every camper a safe space to express her feelings, try new things, and build resilience in a way that’s both challenging and empowering.

Camp GOTR also introduces life skills that many girls will carry with them long after camp is over. Through interactive activities and group exercises, campers learn the importance of empathy, teamwork, and healthy relationships. Each session is carefully crafted to encourage self-reflection and self-love while reinforcing the values we hold close at Girls on the Run.

Why Camp GOTR Matters

Camp GOTR isn’t just a summer event—it’s an experience that strengthens and empowers each girl for life. It’s a place where girls discover that they’re not alone, that others believe in them, and that they are capable of amazing things. This kind of confidence and self-awareness can make a world of difference as they face new challenges and opportunities throughout life.

The camp’s focus on emotional and social growth provides valuable skills that help girls approach life with kindness, courage, and resilience. Whether it’s the shy camper who finds her voice or the adventurous girl who discovers she can be a leader, each girl leaves camp with memories, friends, and a renewed sense of self.
