Every summer, Girls on the Run of Union County hosts a magical experience known as Camp GOTR! For one exciting week, girls come together for a summer camp filled with fun, friendship, and confidence-building activities designed just for them. It’s not your average summer camp—it’s an empowering blend of creativity, teamwork, and learning that leaves a lasting impact on each girl who attends.

Get ready to lace up your running shoes and join us for a fun and festive start to the holiday season at the Gingersnap 5K, happening on November 23 in Downtown Waxhaw, NC! The race will kick off at 8 a.m., and it's not just about running; it’s about celebrating community, health, and the spirit of giving back. This exciting event promises to bring everyone together with a lively DJ, a Vendor Village filled with unique local businesses, and a special appearance by Gingy, our beloved gingerbread mascot.

Inaugural Wildflower Celebration: A Blooming Success!

This year, Girls on the Run Union County hosted our inaugural Wildflower Celebration, and it was nothing short of magical! As our biggest fundraiser of the year, we wanted the event to truly reflect what our program is all about: empowering the amazing girls we serve. From the moment guests arrived, it was clear that the day would be unforgettable—a colorful celebration filled with laughter, creativity, and joy.
